At Biyala Primary School, we are proud to officially introduce our House names and colours:
❤️ Banksia
💛 Wattle
💙 Saltbush
💚 Sheoak
Each of our Houses has been named after native plants and trees that reflect the natural landscape surrounding our beautiful school and local area. These names were carefully chosen to celebrate our connection to the land, honour the environment around us, and help build a strong sense of identity and belonging for every student.
Our House system is about much more than colour and competition. It is about teamwork, pride, encouragement, leadership and connection. Throughout the year, students will come together in their Houses for special events, celebrations, challenges and opportunities to support one another.
We are excited to watch our House spirit continue to grow as students proudly represent Banksia, Wattle, Saltbush and Sheoak across our school community.
