Welcome to Biyala Primary School.
It is a privilege to lead a new school community where we have the opportunity to build something incredibly special from the very beginning. At Biyala, we are committed to creating a school where every child feels known, supported and challenged to achieve their very best. Our focus is on high-quality teaching and learning, underpinned by strong relationships, clear expectations and a shared commitment to excellence.
Our approach is grounded in the Victorian Teaching and Learning Model (VTLM 2.0) and the Victorian Curriculum 2.0, ensuring that every classroom provides structured, engaging and purposeful learning experiences. We believe that when teaching is consistent, explicit and responsive to students’ needs, all learners can thrive.
Equally important is the sense of community we are building together. Biyala is a place where students, families and staff work in partnership, and where values such as gratitude, kindness and excellence guide the way we learn, work and interact with one another each day.
