STEM learning at Biyala Primary School integrates science, technology, engineering and mathematics to foster curiosity, innovation and problem-solving. Aligned with Victorian Curriculum 2.0, students engage in hands-on investigations and design challenges that encourage critical and creative thinking.

Teachers use the VTLM 2.0 instructional model to provide explicit teaching of concepts and skills before students apply their learning through structured exploration and collaboration. Predictable learning routines support students to plan, test, reflect and improve their ideas, preparing them to think analytically and adapt in an ever-changing world.
